Master of Information Systems

The Master of Information Systems is offered by the Department of Information Systems. It offers specialised and directed advanced study in specific areas in the information systems domain of current interest and importance to computing professionals.

Applicants are required to hold a Bachelor of Computing (Honours) degree with an honours grade of IIA or above, or equivalent fourth year qualification such as the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology or Graduate Diploma in Information Systems with an average result of HIIA.

The Master of Information Systems is undertaken completely by coursework and subjects are selected primarily from the fifth-year offerings of the Department of Information Systems. The course contains no research component. The degree may be completed by one year of full-time study or two years of part-time study.
