Introduction to computers

This bridging unit is for students with no previous experience with computers. It covers the principles of operation of stored-program computers and the basic principles of programming using a structured language. Programming concepts, simple data structures, arrays and records, the process of developing programs, files.

Examination: 60% * Major assignment: 40%
