Robotics I

Overview of robotics, current and future applications of robotics. Elements of a modern robotic device: drive, feedback control, programming methods, sensors. End effectors, design considerations, operational constraints, introduction to the kinematics and dynamics of robots, introduction to path and trajectory control.

Assessment

Examinations: 2 hours (70%) * Written assignments: 30%
