Digital technology project

This subject is designed to provide students with the experience of integrating all the skills and tools of digital technology design. Students will be required to plan, design, and construct a physical device that combines the elements of hardware and software into a functional engineering prototype. Supporting material will be provided in specification, scheduling, costing, material sourcing, justification, personal task management, progress reporting, testing and evaluation, report writing, application of CAD tools in project management.

Assessment

Demonstration of working prototype, project report and presentation
