Analysis of single-CPU topologies for DSP and discrete-time control. Design of single-CPU-based systems for DSP and discrete-time control. Design of A/D and D/A conversion, signal conditioning, and single CPU-memory-interface. Use of FPGAs. Application of CAD tools to the analysis and design of single-CPU systems. Comparison of microprocessors.

Assessment

Examination (2 hours): 60% * Practical work, assignments and tests: 40%
