Digital circuits and devices I

This subject introduces the basic concepts and characteristics of electronic devices, and introduces students to the principles and methods of circuit analysis. The syllabus includes semi-conductor theory, PN junction diode and its application, transistors, and the elements of DC circuit analysis.

Assessment

Examination (2 hours): 60% * Assignments and practical work: 40%
