Linear programming

4 points * 2 hours of classes per week * First semester * Caulfield and Peninsula * Prerequisite: A first-year mathematics subject

Model construction, solution techniques, post-optimality analysis, solution via computer package. Goal programming applications. Integer programming formulation, zero-one programming. Special applications of linear programming including the assignment and transportation problems.

Assessment

Assignments: 40% * Examinations (2 hours): 60%
