Computer selection and procurement

Establishing user requirements. The selection process, documentation, specification and supervision. The law applicable to computer procurement, methods for avoiding and solving legal problems in computer procurement. The role of management, expressions of interest, RFP preparation, evaluation of response, negotiation, acceptance testing and implementation. Financing of computer acquisition.

Assessment

Examination (2 hours): 50% * Practical work: 50%
