Industrial project

12 points * 2 hours per week * First/Second semester * Caulfield * Prerequisites: COT2132 or COT2138, SFT2121 and SYS2161 * Prohibitions: CFR3500, SFT3500, SYS3030, SYS3500

Students work in project groups (usually five people) on system development tasks for a client who may be either internal or external to Monash. In general, projects involve all aspects of the system development life cycle. Project management aspects of system development are stressed. A student in part-time or full-time employment in the computer industry may, with the agreement of all parties, introduce appropriate materials from his or her employment as part of the assessment for this subject.

Performance as team member in achieving satisfactory project outcome: 100%
