Computing and information technology project

8 points * 2 hours per week * First/Second semesters * Peninsula * Prerequisite: 8 points of 2nd year computing subjects * Prohibitions: GCO3819, GCO7839, SYS2500

This subject provides students with the opportunity to consolidate theory from subjects studied as part of a minor in Computing and Information Technology, and to apply these concepts to a practical information technology problem relevant to their major field of study. The project will be selected by students in conjunction with academic staff and tailored to meet the specific interests of students. Project work may be performed in small groups and will involve using information technology to address real-life problems.
