Structure of the faculty

There are nine departments in the faculty operating on four main campuses in Australia

* Accounting and Finance - Clayton

* Econometrics - Caulfield, Clayton, Peninsula

* Economics - Clayton

* Management - Clayton

* School of Business - Gippsland

* Syme Accounting - Caulfield, Peninsula

* Syme Banking and Finance - Caulfield, Peninsula

* Syme Management - Caulfield, Peninsula

* Syme Marketing - Caulfield, Peninsula

The Syme departments on the Peninsula campus together form the Syme Business School - Frankston.

Each department and school holds regular departmental meetings which report to Faculty Board.

During 1994, Monash University and the Mt Eliza Australian Management College together established the Monash Mt Eliza Graduate School of Business and Government Limited, known as the Monash Mt Eliza Business School. From 1995, the School will be responsible for the teaching of MBA courses and some other management related courses for the University. Students who were enrolled in such courses before the beginning of 1995 will remain students of the University. After that time, students will enrol through the Monash Mt Eliza Business School.
