Issues in competitive advantage II

Synopsis The primary aim of this subject is to sensitise students to the need to identify the elements of the business mix from which competitive advantage will be derived. Its secondary aim is to provide an appreciation of a range of current issues in competitive advantage. The particular issues selected for emphasis are drawn from four disciplines within Syme Business. These, and their relative importance, will change with environmental circumstances; in each semester they will reflect present business concerns and best practice.

Assessment Minor assignment (2500 words): 25% * Major assignment (4500 words): 45% * Final examination (2 hours): 30%
