Synopsis Identification of members of the food and fibre sector, the various subsectors, the role and function of agribusiness firms and the magnitude of agriculture and agribusiness. Price determination factors, production, consumption, substitutes, elasticity, domestic consumption and price over time, space and quality. Understanding the impact of farm management, grades and standards, transportation, production and price determination upon agribusiness.
