Synopsis At the end of the subject participants should be able to explain the strategic and operational perspectives of logistics; describe the elements of the logistics mix and explain the trade-offs between these elements; explain the relationship between marketing and logistics; develop a customer service policy; design a channel of distribution; explain the use of the concept of power in distribution channels; explain the role of supply management in the integrated logistics concept.

Assessment Individual site visit analysis report: 10% * Syndicate case study presentation: 10% * Individual major assignment (4000 words): 40% * Class test: 40%
