Objectives On completion of this subject students should: have developed the ability to think strategically; have developed the ability to consider strategic decisions in a systems context; understand current issues and challenges facing managers of IT; have developed general strategic systems models/systems modelling software; be able to compare various approaches for handling complexity in IT; be able to review certain issues in corporate IT management.

Assessment Case studies: 30% * Research/development paper (3000 - 5000 words): 20% * Presentation: 10% * Computer simulator exercise: 20% * Process re-engineering/systems modelling: 20%
