An introduction to management theory focusing upon individual and group behaviour within the organisation; leadership and communication; motivation; planning; decision making; organising individuals and groups; handling conflict; control, power and influence; managing change; and exploring current issues in Australian industrial relations. This material will be seen in the context of systems theory.
