Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to: comprehend major issues currently affecting business management; identify relevant theoretical approaches to effectively manage these issues; appreciate how organisations are currently managing these issues.

Synopsis Topics selected will alter as contemporary issues change. Areas likely to be covered include performance management for continuous improvement, leadership in a changing environment, systems thinking, social responsibility and ethics and environmental issues - external and internal.

Assessment Report (1500 words): 25% * Report (2000 words): 45% * Group presentation: 30%
