Synopsis The focus of the subject is strategic thinking by public sector organisations, and their senior managers in particular. Emphasis will be placed on structures and processes for developing strategic plans, decisions and courses of action related to them. Illustrative examples of both success and failure in strategic management will be taken from recent experience in Australian public sector organisations.
