Synopsis This subject introduces the theory and practice of management in the public sector and is particularly aimed at those from the public sector or those interested in the management of government. Emphasis is given to new models of public management, problems of accountability and control, financial management, institutions, bureaucracy, and similarities and differences between public and private management.
