Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject students should be able to appreciate alternative business enterprises, namely sole proprietorships, partnerships, companies and trusts; recognise the laws which apply to such business entities.

Synopsis The law relating to sole traders; partnerships; companies and trusts.

Assessment Assignment (3000-4000 words): 30% * Final examination (3 hours open-book): 70%
