Managerial accounting

Objectives On completion of this subject students should have knowledge of: the economic environment in which an organisation operates; the methods of accumulating and using financial data and reporting the results of activities and current financial management concepts.

Synopsis Lectures and seminars on: the principles of forms of business organisations and financial structures; the overview of the economy; managerial finance; and cost accounting systems.

Assessment Class tests: 30% * Final examination (2 hours): 70%
