Financial management

Objectives This subject aims to develop skills and concepts required by business managers to use accounting data to evaluate the performance of an organisation. Items covered include the nature of financial statements, the concepts of profits, profitability and liquidity, measure of performance, profit plans and cost benefit analysis of projects and strategies.

Assessment Assignment: 30% * Semester test: 30% * Final examination: 40%
