Synopsis This graduate seminar subject is compulsory for PhD, Master of Commerce and Master of Economics candidates. Students will be assessed on the basis of attendance, participation and presentation. It is a non-weighted subject and is taken in addition to the prescribed coursework. PhD candidates and masters candidates proceeding by major thesis are required to present at least two seminars, one at an early stage to outline their thesis proposal and the second towards the end of candidature, preferably before writing-up has commenced. Masters candidates proceeding by minor thesis are required to present at least one seminar at a time to be determined in consultation with their supervisor.
