The subject provides guidance on thesis writing and research methods and work-in-progress sessions. It also covers a range of topics on which honours students will be examined in the general paper, including the history and state of the discipline; the nature of politics and political knowledge; and analysis of major concepts, intellectual puzzles and issues in the cultural sciences.
