Philosophy of science A

6 points * 3 hours per week * First semester * Clayton

This subject comprises two components: (i) `Reason and rationality', an introduction to basic logical concepts and the techniques of logical appraisal, and (ii) `Science, religion and witchcraft', an introductory subject in the history and philosophy of science. All students must go to the department during orientation week to arrange tutorials.
