Introduction to disaster management and hazard analysis

The characteristics of disasters and the application of strategies at the four levels of disaster management; the community and organisational needs for the implementation of those strategies; understanding risk perception and analysis; elements of hazard and community analysis and communicating the concept of risk to disaster managers and threatened communities.
