The Australian federal system as it operates in the field of law enforcement; the problems of overlapping jurisdiction. The role of the National Crime Authority. The possible creation of an Australian Federal Bureau of Investigation. A comparative study of selected policing policies and practices of the United States and Britain; a study of the developing police infrastructure of nations within the area of Australia's strategic and defence concern with particular emphasis on Oceania.
