Solo and duo performance and literature I

Under the guidance of a departmental supervisor and a studio teacher, students are required (i) to prepare a unified program of works from at least two historical periods to be performed in public at the end of the semester accompanied by original program annotations, and (ii) to write a critical, analytical and historical essay explaining the choice of program in the context of the relevant literature.
