Modern Greek language and culture B

The subject is a continuation of MGR1070 and shares the same aims and methods. Topics studied include the Great Idea and the Asia Minor Catastrophe; the Cyprus Problem; Tachtsis' Trito stefani; and perceptions of Greek national identity.

Assessment

Written (2000 words): 25% * Examinations (2 hours): 50% * Language assignments and exercises, oral test: 25%
