Applied multivariate data analysis II

4 points * 2 hours per week * First semester * Caulfield/Clayton/Peninsula * Prerequisites: MAT2781

An interesting selection of multivariate techniques and procedures are studied, for example distance measures, cluster analysis, multidimensional scaling, discriminant analysis, canonical correlation and multiway frequency table analysis using log-linear models. BMDP and SPSS are used extensively.

Assessment

Assignment: 50% * Class test (open book for 1.5 hours): 50%
