This subject consists of the following parts. Part A. The study of precribed texts which will be announced at the beginning of the year. Part B. The study of the Latin language and texts relevant to its history. Part C. The study of a special subject (to be arranged at the beginning of the year). Part D. A dissertation (of about 10,000 words) to be submitted by a date in the second semester to be announced. Students taking a combined fourth-year honours course in Latin and another approved discipline should, in consultation with the department, enrol for two of LAT4320, LAT4340, LAT4360 and LAT4380, while students who have been granted special permission to complete fourth-year honours in Latin over two years should enrol in two of those subjects in each of the two years.
