Racism and prejudice
8 points * 3 hours per week * Second semester * Clayton * Prerequisites: KRS2010 and KRS2020
Students will be required to address the issues of race, ethnicity, prejudice and racism. Particular emphasis will be placed on studies of language use in a multicultural context, the representation of Koories in the media and other forms of popular culture. Research by students may include attitudes and behaviour towards Koories in contemporary Australian situations.
