This subject aims to consolidate and further develop students' knowledge of Japanese in order to achieve intermediate competence in spoken and written Japanese with particular reference to business situations. It is the first part of a two-semester sequence and is designed to be followed by JPL2240. Both JPL2230 and JPL2240 must be taken in order to proceed to the third-year sequence.
