This subject aims to develop students' competence in advanced-intermediate Japanese. There will be particular emphasis on business situations. It is designed to be followed by JPL1340. Both JPL1330 and JPL1340 must be successfully completed to proceed to the second year sequence. Students are advised to enrol concurrently for JPS1090 (Understanding contemporary Japan).
