Individual option

A subject intended to give students the opportunity to pursue, in appropriate cases, a specialised aspect of Italian studies not otherwise available, provided adequate supervision is available in the department. Interested students should first discuss their proposed topic with a prospective supervisor, and then apply for permission to enrol in the individual option. Approved candidates will normally be required to submit periodic reports, as well as a longer paper, at the end of the semester, summarising their findings.
