Culture and society in Australia

This subject is concerned with Australian culture in its social context, and focuses on the period between the wars. Class, family and sexuality, religion and education will be considered, but the subject will also examine a range of activities and concerns such as Anzac commemorations, literature (including children's books and comics), painting, sport, entertainment and the environment.

Assessment

Written (5000 words): 75% * Examination (1 hour): 25%
