Biogeography - the status of Australian vegetation

This subject presents a dynamic approach to the study of natural and society-modified vegetation. It includes an examination of the factors and processes which have contributed towards the origins, nature and distribution of Australian vegetation types, and an assessment of particular problems of land use and conservation. The first few lectures of the subject, together with a field excursion and subsequent practical sessions, are designed to provide familiarity with vegetation and its analysis.
