Honours dissertation

Students will research a topic in French literature, linguistics, cinema, or civilisation. The topic must be chosen as early as possible. Students are expected to start their preliminary reading during the summer vacation. The dissertation will be 10,000 words in length and will be written in French. Students will take a library use workshop as part of this subject.
Assessment
Written (10,000 words): 100% * An outline of at least 500 words must be submitted by 1 May, and 5000 words by the beginning of second semester. The final deadline for submission is 1 November
