Performance theory

The focus of this subject will be on twentieth century approaches, including semiotics, theatre anthropology, feminist theory and methods of performance analysis. It will be taught by a number of members of the staff of the centre, and will involve the study of theoretical texts as outlined in the subject material available from the centre.

Essay (5000 words): 50% * Essay (2000 words) 25% * Seminar paper and participation: 25%
