Advanced intermediate Cambodian (Khmer), part 1

This subject emphasises spoken and written communication in Cambodian. It focuses on language usage at an advanced level in a number of selected settings directly relevant to life in Cambodia. Contexts of language use include aspects of life in Cambodia such as history, geography, social institutions, tourism, trade and business, and the arts. There will be selected readings from Cambodian writers.

Assessment

Examinations (4 hours): 60% * Oral, classwork and assignments: 40%
