Psychology - introductory B

6 points * Three 1-hour lectures, one 2-hour workshop per week * Second semester * Caulfield/Peninsula * Prerequisites: APY1010

An introduction to the study of social psychology, including person perception, attribution theory, attitude formation and change, conformity and obedience and crowd behaviour. Personality theories and measurement, classification of abnormal behaviour and approaches to therapy. Further work in the area of research design and statistical analysis.

Assessment

Two laboratory reports: 30% * One workshop presentation: 10% * Four tests: 60%
